WHAT IS AN AUSTRALIAN WHITE CARD?
As of the 1st of July 2009 the OH&S Construction Blue Card has been replaced be the OH&S Construction White Card. The purpose of the white card Australia is to bring all Australian States and Territories together and have one nationally recognised construction induction card. Your Brisbane white card is legally recognised on all construction sites throughout Queensland and all other Australian States and Territories. This Queensland white card course is for people who work or wish to work in the QLD construction industry. If you are not a resident of Queensland but are coming to Queensland to work, your final Queensland white card assessment must to be completed in Queensland.

The construction induction card (CPCWHS1001) is nationally recognised, so once you have your Brisbane white card, you are able to work in Queensland and any other Australian state or Territory.

Your White Card Australia and statements of attainments are issued immediately following successful completion of the Queensland White Card course.
