Important Information Regarding Online White Cards Taking Effect from the 1st of February 2019
As of the 1st of Febraury 2019 there are some changes being made to the delivery of online White Cards. These changes include:

The Queensland White Card course will no longer be available online UNLESS a student is located at least 100 kilometers from the nearest Registered Training Organisation delivering face to face Construction White Card training. Students who meet this exemption MUST provide evidence of this prior to a White Card being issued.

Students MUST be located in Queensland at the time of training.

Assessment and Course Requirements
As of the 8th of December the assessment requirements for the Construction White Card have changed accross Australia. Once you have completed the online course content and online assessment you will need to submit the following to receive your Statement of Attainment and Contruction White Card:
- a statutory declaration
- a certified copy of your identification
- a Unique Student Identifier ( USI) - if you do not already have a USI click here to be directed to the relevant website
- a short video demonstrating the correct method of putting on common Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
New Model Code of Practice for Construction Industry Section 6.1 Regulation 316-317 states:
"If a worker has either not successfully completed general construction induction training, or has successfully completed general construction induction training more than 2 years previously but has not carried out construction work in the preceding 2 years, a person conducting a business or undertaking must:

Not direct or allow the worker to carry out construction work, and
-
Ensure that general construction induction training is provided to a worker engaged by the person who is carrying out construction work.”
