What is OH&S?
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is the term used to describe the laws and processes that help to protect employees from death, disease and injury while at work. The Occupational Health and Safety Certificate has been specifically designed to develop knowledge and skills required for working as an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) professional within any work context. It is an entry level qualification for those seeking a practical approach to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, supervisors, safety officers, and safety representative and safety committee members.
This Course can be delivered in three different delivery methods:
- Blended Delivery – This is an initial workshop of just 3 days where delivery of underpinning knowledge is provided with minimal assessment tasks conducted. This prepares you for completing the tasks at home or work.
- Intensive Delivery – This delivery method is where we guide you through the entirety of the qualification. Intensive delivery is comprised of pre face to face reading and work, then 5 days face to face training with up to 2 hours of homework each night.
- Full Delivery – Full delivery is where we guide you through the entirety of the course in 7 days, and once the assessment tasks have been successfully completed, you will achieve your qualification.
